Your tasks
- As Medical Marketing Manager Urology, you will combine the scientific expertise of a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with the strategic and operational orientation of a Commercial Project Manager. The position is anchored in marketing and combines medical-scientific expertise with clear commercial interests.
- Your main tasks & responsibilities 1. scientific exchange & expert management
- Expansion and development of a scientific expert network (KOLs) together with Medical Science for Dr. Pfleger in the field of urology with the aim of providing advice and recommendations on strategic orientation and operational implementation.
- Identification of strategically relevant trends
- Planning, moderation and follow-up of advisory boards
- KOL support in the context of medical, national (and international) specialist events (HCP training courses; congresses)
- 2. Project management & marketing support
- Support and assistance with product launches and campaign developments for urological focus products
- Obtaining medical insight and transferring it into a strategic, scientifically sound, operational marketing recommendation
- Active contribution of medical-commercial expertise in the context of brand plan creation and positioning
- Active interface management between Marketing, Sales and Clinical & Scientific Affairs
- Briefing experts at symposia and other events
- 3. Evidence and market observation
- Screening and analysis of scientific publications, guidelines and studies in the urological focus indications important to Dr. Pfleger
- Initial preparation of a structured and regular competitive and trend analysis based on expert information, structured market analyses and scientific findings
- 4. Cross-functional cooperation
- Training the sales force on medical-scientific content and product data
- Supporting internal strategic meetings with data, insights and recommendations for action
- 5. Compliance & documentation
- Ensuring compliance with medical and commercial regulations
- Balance between medical integrity and commercial objectives
Your qualifications
- Completed university degree in medicine, pharmacy or natural sciences
- Several years of successful experience in the medical-scientific marketing/medical environment of pharmaceutical manufacturers. Ideally in the therapeutic area of urology
- Ability to combine medical and commercial perspectives
- You have a strong ability to think analytically – both scientifically and market-related.
- You present confidently and communicate clearly and convincingly.
- You organize yourself excellently and implement things consistently with a high level of operational strength.
- You have the inner drive to really make a difference and actively drive change.
- You approach others with empathy, communicate clearly and engagingly and enjoy working with different teams.
