Your tasks
- The e-commerce channel is increasingly becoming a strategic pillar of our sales. This is your opportunity to help shape this channel from the ground up. You will not only manage figures, but also decide how we sell globally, who we reach and how we expand our market positions.
- You will develop the strategy for the further expansion of our web store sales channel and work out growth and revenue targets for the global Schmalz Group based on this. To do this, you will analyze current performance data and identify optimization potential.
- You will identify top customers with potential and develop targeted acquisition and development strategies to dynamically expand our market position.
- You will continuously record market and customer requirements and translate these into specific platform requirements together with the Digital Sales Product Owners.
- You will work on platform-specific sales opportunities, develop pricing strategies, analyze KPIs and design data-based business cases to further expand the channel.
- You will train and coach our global sales team and actively participate in sales conferences and international sales meetings.
Your qualifications
- You have relevant sales experience in the B2B environment and ideally sound knowledge of e-commerce from the digital sales environment
- You understand key sales figures and can derive strategies from them
- You communicate convincingly with vendors, partners and customers
- You think processes through to the end, implement them and have a desire to build something new instead of just managing what already exists.
- You speak fluent English and are generally willing to travel.
- You are ready to navigate the complexity of a global sales system.
