Caritasverband für die Diözese Limburg e.V. is the welfare association of the Catholic Church in the diocese of Limburg and the umbrella organization of independent welfare services in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate. It provides professional advice and educational support and represents the interests of seven independent Caritas associations and more than 100 corporate members. It is committed to a society based on solidarity and the interests of the disadvantaged and promotes voluntary work. In the diocese of
Limburg, more than 19,500 full-time employees and just as many volunteers are involved in Caritas. The Diocesan Caritas Association itself employs 80 people.
