KEA Klimaschutz- und Energieagentur Baden-Württemberg GmbH is the state’s energy agency. KEA-BW’s task is to actively participate in climate protection measures in Baden-Württemberg: it supports the state government in promoting the topics of energy saving, rational energy use and the use of renewable energies. KEA-BW also focuses on sustainable mobility and water management tasks.

The Renewable BW division helps to drive forward the expansion of renewable energies in the state, particularly in the wind and solar energy sectors, to increase the provision of land for this expansion and to promote the use of renewable energies in the state. It acts as a central point of contact for project developers, local authorities and other stakeholders.
