Data management and market research officer for public transport (d/m/w)

NAH.SH is the transport association for Schleswig-Holstein and is driving forward the mobility transition in the true north. On behalf of the state, it plans, orders and coordinates local rail passenger transport (SPNV) and the sustainable further development of public mobility in Schleswig-Holstein. In addition, NAH.SH supports its shareholders – the state, the districts and independent cities – in supra-regional tasks and in the planning and procurement of services, both individually on a contractual basis and as a service provider

• You are part of the Network Development team, which is continuously developing the local transport network in Schleswig-Holstein. In addition to central management tasks, this also includes managing passenger numbers and market research, advising and networking local authorities in the area of sustainable mobility and innovative projects such as on-demand transport.
• You will further develop the data management system and ensure the uniform use, quality and availability of data across all systems – analyzing the processes of data collection, organization, storage, backup, analysis and analysis
• You will manage projects to ensure the availability and quality of data from passenger counting systems and work closely with transport companies and IT service providers.
• You will be involved in market research projects, coordinate with relevant stakeholders and ensure compatibility with other NAH.SH market research activities
• You support colleagues and partners in the analysis, visualization and preparation of mobility and usage data for planning, reports and decision-making.

• You have a degree or training in information management, transport planning, geoinformatics, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• You have extensive knowledge of data processes, interfaces and data architectures.
• You preferably have experience in a comparable position and in project management.
• You work in a structured, analytical and solution-oriented manner and maintain an overview even when dealing with complex issues.
• You are communicative and enjoy working with people.
