For our global data organization, we are looking for a Director who is responsible for cloud-baseddata platforms (ideally Azure) as a businessbackbone and who will further develop our international datalandscape both operationally and strategically.
Your tasks:
- You are responsible for the overall strategic and operational responsibility of our cloud-baseddata platform (Microsoft Azure) as a company-wide single source of truth
- You clearly position the data platform as an entrepreneurial business backboneand represent it to the C-levelfrom a clear management and control perspective
- You evaluate and prioritize architecture and platform decisions
- You translate complex technical topics into clear, business-relevant content for the business and the C-level(benefits, risks and trade-offs)
- You further develop our global hub & spokemodel and establish standards, playbooks and enablementstructures
- You are responsible for make-or-buydecisions, the integration of market-ready data & AIsolutions and the management of external partners in terms of quality and scalability
- You manage global platform teams as well as external technology and implementation partners
- You drive the company-wide adoption of the platform and consistently focus its further development on scaling and measurable added business value
Your profile:
- You have several years of management experience at director, head-of or comparable leadership level in the area of data, analytics or data platforms – ideally in global organizations
- You have experience in the responsibility and further development of cloud-based data platforms, preferably on Microsoft Azure
- You have experience in setting up and managing scalable data operating models
- You are confident in dealing with make-or-buy decisions and in managing technology vendors and implementation partners
- You can implement complex topics pragmatically and structure and scale organizations
- You have a strong entrepreneurial ownership and doer mentality as well as strong decision-making skills and actively drive topics forward, even in dynamic and challenging environments
- You have a very good command of German and English
