The German Actuarial Association (DAV) e. V. is the leading professional association for actuaries—based in the vibrant heart of Cologne. With approximately 6,900 members, we set the standards for actuarial education and continuing professional development, represent our members’ professional interests, and promote dialogue between academia, the professional field, and policymakers.
Actuarial science and risk management are crucial for stable retirement benefits, fair insurance products, and data-driven solutions in an increasingly complex world. At the DAV, you’ll contribute your expertise in a targeted manner, create the framework for thousands of professionals, and actively shape the development of a demanding profession.
Our office in Cologne consists of an agile team of about 50 colleagues who coordinate association activities, education and continuing education, events, and professional publications. In doing so, you’ll work closely with volunteers, expert committees, and external partners.
