The Saxony-Anhalt Hospital Association (KGSAN) is the association of hospital operators in Saxony-Anhalt. We represent the interests of our members in dealings with policymakers, the public, and health insurance companies. In addition, the KGSAN carries out tasks in the healthcare sector as mandated by law.
The KGSAN’s “Press and Public Relations” department focuses on health policy, fundamental issues in the hospital sector, press and public relations, internal association communications, event management, and committee work.
Your Responsibilities
- Statements and accompanying media relations for all health policy issues as well as fundamental questions regarding the hospital sector
- Press and public relations: campaigns at the federal and state levels, maintaining contacts with the media, politicians, government agencies, and opinion leaders; the KGSAN website; publications; and preparation of presentations and speeches as part of political advocacy
- Internal Association Communication
- Annual Report
- Seminar and event management: KGSAN general assembly, informational events, ongoing seminar programs
- Committee work at the federal and state levels
Your Qualifications
- You have successfully completed a vocational training program or a degree program (preferably in the fields of communication, media, journalism, or economics) and, ideally, have professional experience in the field of health policy.
- You demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as excellent communication skills, which enable you to clearly analyze complex issues and present them in a way that is tailored to the target audience.
- You are confident and precise in both spoken and written communication.
- You have strong organizational skills, a high sense of responsibility, the ability to collaborate, and a proactive approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign or a comparable graphic design program are a given for you.
