Working Together at the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation—Toward a Connection of Excellence
On behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany, we support outstanding researchers, regardless of their field of study or nationality. Our global network serves as a vital foundation for collaboration and, consequently, for excellent research—even leading to Nobel Prizes.
The Strategy and External Relations Department combines dialogue with policymakers, the scientific community, and civil society with systematic strategy and program development, as well as focused initiatives—such as those on academic freedom—and designs targeted communications to ensure the Foundation and its goals are well-positioned across the board.
The Press, Communications, and Marketing Unit manages the Foundation’s communications, ranging from media and campaign work, the website, and marketing to publications and social media.
We also collaborate exceptionally well internally—with a family-like spirit, as part of a diverse team, and with a healthy dose of pragmatism. Connect with us—both professionally and personally. Cross-culturally, across continents. Join us in building bridges for a better society and even a better world. So that everyone can benefit from our long history and experience—in the true spirit of our namesake: “From Humboldt to You.” Apply and become one of us!
