Your Responsibilities
Development and implementation of communication strategies to position the ZVEI and key topics, such as in the areas of electrification, digitalization, and international economic relations
Further development and management of internal and external communications, including integrated content and editorial strategies and the further development of digital communication formats
Design, implementation, and placement of content in various communication formats (e.g., statements, interviews, expert articles, website copy, social media posts, and video content)
Management of communication initiatives in complex and sensitive situations affecting our reputation, and confident representation of our positions to the press, media, and the public
Establishing and maintaining relationships with the media, political actors, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as providing communication support for key events and press formats
Managing external service providers and independently leading complex communication projects
Your Profile
A successfully completed college degree, ideally with a focus on communication, media, politics, public affairs, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in strategic communication, ideally in a corporate, association, or agency setting, or in the political sphere (such as parliament, a political party, a foundation, or an NGO)
A strong understanding of (economic) policy contexts and current developments, as well as excellent knowledge of the political system
Ability to grasp complex topics holistically, contextualize them strategically, and communicate them in a manner tailored to the target audience
Experience in developing and implementing integrated communication and content strategies
A keen sense of media dynamics, relevant formats, and how to address target audiences effectively
Confident interaction with internal and external stakeholders, as well as experience handling sensitive communication situations
A structured, independent work style and strong conceptual skills
