The Versicherer im Raum der Kirchen (VRK) is the insurance partner for people in the church community, Diakonie, Caritas, and independent social welfare organizations. It is part of the HUK-COBURG Group. Ethical, social, and environmental considerations in product design are particularly important to the VRK. Here are the tasks you can expect
Conceptual development of the department’s communication tasks and development of strategies to increase the reach of the Academy’s offerings
Design, creation, and maintenance of website content, social media channels, and newsletters
Coordination and execution of internal and external communications (e.g., intranet or drafting press releases)
Event management for collaborative events with church partners nationwide
Support and collaboration on other activities of the Academy/Press Office of the VRK
What You Bring to the Table
A completed degree or vocational training in media and communication studies or event management, as well as professional experience in the relevant field
Proficiency in using online media, writing content for newsletters and the website, and coordinating communication initiatives
Experience in organizing and conducting conferences and seminars, as well as a willingness to travel occasionally for work
Ability to communicate effectively with church partners in a manner tailored to their needs, along with an affinity for social media; creative, goal-oriented, and structured work style
Basic understanding of the work of the churches and their charitable organizations, as well as identification with the goals of these organizations
