Key Areas of Focus

In collaboration with our Communications and Marketing and Research departments, you will be responsible for researching and publishing scientific topics related to the THD’s research campuses in a manner tailored to specific target audiences.
To this end, you will work with researchers at the various locations to develop a suitable communication strategy that encompasses not only traditional media but also the web, social media, blogs, podcasts, and content for promotional materials.
In doing so, you will create engaging storytelling for the respective research topics. You will also support both the social media team in preparing science communication posts and our PR team with press releases and media events.
The role involves occasional travel within the THD campuses.

Your Profile

You have a college degree in journalism, communication, and marketing, or a comparable qualification.
You have a good grasp of technical concepts and enjoy the academic subjects taught at a university of applied sciences. In addition, you have solid knowledge of photography and film, are familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud, and are comfortable using social media.
Excellent written and spoken English and German skills, as well as creativity, are among your strengths, along with the ability to work in a team, flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, and a sense of personal responsibility.
