Brand & Marketing Manager (maternity leave replacement)
In this position, you will actively help shape the further development of our brand presence. In doing so, you will set new directions within our corporate design and corporate identity framework.
At the same time, you will draw on your experience to sustainably professionalize processes, collaboration, and implementation in marketing.
Your Responsibilities
- You will support strategic and operational brand management and ensure a consistent, effective brand presence across all relevant channels and touchpoints.
- You will strategically advance our corporate design and corporate identity within the existing brand framework and introduce contemporary elements.
- You will oversee communication and marketing initiatives, evaluate creative concepts and design approaches in terms of brand fit, target audience relevance, and strategic impact, and ensure brand-compliant implementation.
- You will oversee and coordinate the visual implementation of communication and marketing initiatives and ensure clear briefings, efficient workflows, and brand-compliant execution.
- You advise university units and external service providers on issues related to brand application, design, and communication, thereby promoting a consistent brand perception.
- You manage and coordinate cross-functional projects at the intersection of branding, marketing, communication, and digitalization.
- You will professionalize brand, marketing, and coordination processes using appropriate tools and standards, and derive insights from data-driven analyses to continuously optimize initiatives.
Our Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Several years of experience in marketing
- You possess a deep understanding of branding and marketing and are familiar with digital transformation topics, including their potential applications and opportunities.
- You have proven experience in cross-functional project work, excellent English skills, and are proficient in using MS Office as well as digital and hybrid tools.
- You stand out for your conceptual and analytical skills, as well as your strategic thinking and decision-making, and your affinity for data.
- Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, enthusiasm, the ability to engage others, and the capacity to organize and prioritize are also key requirements for success in this role. You describe yourself as a skilled liaison and are open to new topics, dynamic, and eager to continuously develop your skills.

- The base salary, in accordance with the above-mentioned classification under §54 VwGr. IVa of the collective bargaining agreement, is EUR 3,450.30 on a full-time basis. The actual salary will be determined based on professional experience and qualifications.

This is a temporary position to cover the absence of a colleague from October 7, 2026, through September 30, 2028. The work schedule (20–25 hours per week) will be determined in consultation with the supervisor.
