The dtv catalog encompasses international and German-language fiction, nonfiction, self-help books, children’s and young adult books, as well as literature for young adults. Approximately 400 titles are published annually in hardcover, paperback, pocket-sized paperback, and e-book formats.

As a Website & Online Store Project Manager, you will assume overall technical and operational responsibility for the dtv online store and drive its strategic and technical development.
Further development and optimization of the Shopware online store in terms of performance, user-friendliness, conversion, and customer experience
Planning and managing e-commerce and digital projects—from conception to implementation
Responsibility for timelines, budget, and quality in further developments and system rollouts
Optimizing the interfaces between the online store, publishing software, fulfillment, and other systems
Conducting quality controls, error analyses, and continuous optimization measures
Managing external agencies and technical partners, as well as coordinating with internal departments
Working closely with SEO/GEO, Tracking/Analytics, and Online Marketing

Your Profile:

A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, media informatics, or a comparable field of study
Professional experience as a digital project manager with a focus on website maintenance and development
Practical experience in maintaining and further developing online stores, ideally using Shopware.
Understanding of technical concepts, interfaces, and digital system landscapes.
Proficient in project management
Passion for innovative digitalization topics and a keen sense of digital marketing trends
Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, as well as the motivation to develop process solutions
Strong communication skills; independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style
