Senior Brand Manager (m/f/d)

Your Growth-Driving Responsibilities

  • Brand Management: You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of our Cough & Cold brands in the German market.
  • Market Strategy: You will analyze market and competitive landscapes, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic and operational marketing plans based on these insights.
  • Marketing Mix: You will plan, manage, and analyze the cross-channel marketing mix, identify opportunities for optimization, and be responsible for budget planning and control.
  • Collaboration: You will coordinate closely with Sales, Digital Business, e-commerce, and the Medical and Scientific Department. You will work in global teams on the further development of the Health Interest Common Cold.
  • Team Leadership: You provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the brand team, manage cross-functional project teams, and coordinate with external agencies.

Your Naturally Compelling Profile

  • Professional Requirements: You have successfully completed a degree in economics or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: You have several years of experience in brand management, ideally in the OTC pharmaceutical market.
  • Skills: You have a strong command of the marketing mix, think holistically and across channels, and consistently align your work with the needs of your customers.
  • Personal strengths: You work in a structured, self-motivated, and results-oriented manner. With your strong communication and presentation skills, you effectively bring teams and stakeholders together.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in German and English rounds out your profile.

Brand Management Department at Dr. Willmar Schwabe

The role of Brand Management at Dr. Willmar Schwabe is to shape the strategic and operational marketing of our phytotherapeutic products in the German market. This includes the strategic management and positioning of the brands, as well as the development, initiation, and coordination of target-group-specific concepts and measures for consumers and healthcare professionals in collaboration with the relevant departments. This ranges from the development of new products and marketing approaches to medium- and short-term operational planning for revenue, sales, and investments.
