Your Responsibilities
Become part of the "Future Energy Lab"! Located in the heart of Berlin, we work in the "Digital Technologies" division on both national and international projects related to digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, the data economy, data analytics, and digital sovereignty for energy markets and grids.
The focus of the role is on designing and implementing communication initiatives centered on projects related to digital technologies and dena’s Future Energy Lab (FEL). As a Communications Manager (m/f/d) at the FEL, you’ll operate at the intersection of communications, project management, innovation, politics, and the energy sector.
Identifying communication-relevant topics in collaboration with project managers and partners, and translating them into effective formats tailored to specific target audiences.
Independently creating and editing texts, images, videos, and designs for project websites and social media posts (LinkedIn/Instagram), as well as producing visualizations such as infographics or videos.
Developing communication concepts and strategies, overseeing their implementation, and supporting the growth of the FEL community and its partnerships to increase reach and visibility.
Coordinating communication activities, aligning content and formats with internal and external partners, and advising colleagues on the planning and implementation of communication initiatives for websites, social media, and video content.
Planning, conducting, and following up on interviews in collaboration with colleagues.
This is a full-time position, initially limited to two years with the option of permanent employment.
Your Profile
A successfully completed degree, ideally with a focus on communication, media studies, or linguistics
At least 2 years of practical experience in corporate communications, an agency, journalism, or an association
Proven expertise in managing social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram) and website design (WordPress, Bricks), as well as graphic design and video tools (e.g., Canva)
Excellent writing and language skills in German and English, quick comprehension, and political tact
Strategic thinking and creativity in the conception and implementation of integrated communication measures
Enjoyment of constructive team coordination and the implementation of communication processes
Experience in communications/marketing with a focus on the energy sector is desirable
Knowledge of national and international energy and climate policy, as well as project management, is desirable
Very strong communication and negotiation skills
High level of motivation, commitment, teamwork, reliability, and resilience
