For our Corporate Real Estate Management team at the House of Communication in Munich, we are seeking an Event Manager with a focus on conferencing to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will provide professional support to our clients and manage conferences from start to finish.
What you can expect from us:
- Planning, organizing, and executing conferences and events at the House of Communication
- Comprehensive client support, including pre- and post-event communication as well as active client meetings
- Booking of rooms, catering, and internal services, as well as ensuring that everything runs smoothly on-site
- Responsibility for financial management, controlling, and billing for events
- Using and maintaining relevant systems (e.g., Axxerion, MCY, SAP) and ensuring data quality
- Continuous optimization of processes, as well as support for new business and upselling
What we expect from you:
- Experience in the event, hospitality, tourism, or service industry with a strong customer focus
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong communication skills, a confident demeanor, and a solution-oriented approach
- Business acumen and an affinity for numbers and controlling processes
- Technical aptitude and confidence using digital tools, ideally AI-based applications
- Self-motivation, flexibility, and a passion for a dynamic work environment
