Hessen Film & Medien GmbH serves as the central point of contact for film funding in the state of Hesse and plays a key role in strengthening the regional film and media industry in the long term.
Your responsibilities:
You will develop concepts, strategies, and content for communications (including social media, press, the website, and newsletters)
You will draft and distribute press releases, guest articles, welcome messages, speeches, and presentations in German and English
You will contribute to the design and production of the annual report as well as other publications and special editions
You will handle press and media inquiries and assist with studies, research, and other information requests
You will prepare interviews, press events, and briefing materials for senior management and accompany them during these engagements
You will represent our press spokesperson and independently handle press and public relations tasks
You will position Hessen Film & Medien as a progressive and forward-looking film funding organization and strengthen its public image
What you'll bring to the table:
You have a college degree, a comparable qualification, or relevant professional experience in the fields of communications, journalism, media, public relations, or a related field.
You have at least two years of practical experience in press and public relations.
You have a good understanding of copyright and image rights as well as journalistic standards.
You have excellent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English skills.
You communicate confidently, professionally, and in a manner tailored to your audience—including when interacting with the media, politicians, industry representatives, and partners.
You keep a cool head in hectic situations.
