Marketing Operations establishes the central structures, systems, and services for modern, effective, and consistent communication and marketing of the HENSOLDT Group.
Your Responsibilities
As Digital Experience & Platforms Manager, you will be responsible for the technical, administrative, and organizational foundations of the central digital communication channels. These include, in particular, the website, the product app, the associated content management systems, digital asset management, the intranet, and other internal digital communication platforms.
You will ensure that the digital platforms are operated reliably, securely, and with a user-centric approach, and that they are continuously refined. In doing so, you will work closely with content managers within Communications & Marketing, as well as with IT, data protection, legal, and external service providers.
Administration and operational support for the central digital communication and marketing platforms, in particular the website, product app, CMS environment, digital asset management, and intranet
Development and management of a comprehensive digital channel and platform roadmap for Communications & Marketing
Ensuring a consistent, user-centered user experience and UI quality across all digital channels and platforms
Evaluating UX/UI concepts, as well as briefing and managing internal and external implementation partners while taking corporate design, usability, and accessibility into account
Capturing and translating business requirements into technical briefings, backlog items, and specific development tasks
Coordinating further developments, releases, bug fixes, and optimization measures in collaboration with IT, agencies, implementation partners, and platform providers
Managing internal and external service providers, including briefing, requesting proposals, evaluating costs, quality assurance, and tracking implementation
Technical and administrative publication of content that has been provided and editorially approved on the website, product app, and intranet
Responsibility for platform configurations, user roles, access rights, workflows, administrative structures, and interfaces
Ensuring compliance with IT security, data protection, legal, and compliance requirements—for example, regarding hosting, consent management, tracking, data processing, and authorization concepts
Establishing and maintaining reliable analytics and reporting structures, as well as evaluating platform stability, technical performance, usage, user journeys, accessibility, and data quality
Advising the communications and marketing teams on additional digital tools and smaller channels, such as internal screens or template systems
The editorial strategy, the development of messages and content, and their technical approval remain the responsibility of the respective content and topic managers
Your Profile
A bachelor’s degree in digital media, media or communication studies, marketing, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in the digital communications or marketing field, in web or platform management, or in a comparable role
Extensive experience in the administration and further development of websites, content management systems, and digital platforms, ideally in a complex corporate or B2B environment
Knowledge of headless CMS solutions, ideally Strapi, as well as digital asset management, intranet, and analytics systems, and SharePoint and other M365 applications
Experience in UX/UI, digital product or platform development, information architecture, and the evaluation of designs and prototypes
A solid understanding of digital platform architectures, interfaces, user and authorization concepts, as well as technical and editorial workflows
Experience collaborating with IT departments, agencies, technical service providers, and platform vendors
Understanding of data protection, IT security, consent management, digital accessibility, and compliance requirements
Ability to systematically capture business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications and actionable work packages
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, along with a structured, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to work
Strong service orientation, initiative, and the ability to bring together diverse stakeholders and consistently see projects through to implementation
Enthusiasm for a role that combines operational platform work with strategic development
Native-level proficiency in German and business-level proficiency in English
