The Planning Association for the Greater Munich Economic Area (PV) is a special-purpose association comprising 189 municipalities, eight counties, and the state capital of Munich. It carries out a wide range of planning tasks for its members and advises them on all matters related to local and urban planning. What are your responsibilities?
Support with all aspects of association communications, particularly press relations for the PV and the Munich Regional Planning Association (RPV), including media monitoring and analysis
Assistance with and further development of the website and newsletter, as well as content management
Creation of content (images and text) for flyers, the website, newsletters, and other informational materials
Assistance with the editing and layout of publications, including the preparation of statistical data
Assistance with the organization and execution of events
Close collaboration and coordination with the various departments
What do you bring to the table?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BSc/MSc) in Media and Communication Studies, Journalism, or a comparable field of study
Initial professional experience in press and public relations (preferably gained during your studies)
Technical aptitude and strong proficiency in MS Office programs, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop; ideally, experience with CMS systems (Typo3)
Ability to work independently, a hands-on approach, strong organizational skills, a high degree of flexibility, and excellent communication skills
Fluent expression and confident writing skills in German
