In addition to managing, motivating, and developing the department’s 13 employees, your responsibilities will include the following key areas in particular:
Planning, coordinating, and overseeing the department’s tasks (focus areas: press and public relations, sponsorship, events, brand promotion, promotional materials)
Responsibility for all external and internal corporate communications:
Strategic planning, management, and implementation across all channels (press and public relations, CSR communications, employee and employer communications, event and sponsorship management)
Maintaining relationships with savings bank associations, the Sparkassenverlag publishing house, other savings banks, the press, institutions, and other associations
Optional role as press spokesperson, including drafting press releases, conducting interviews, and issuing statements.
A completed apprenticeship as a bank clerk,
A completed degree in business administration (e.g., a bachelor’s degree or a degree in business administration),
Proven leadership experience in corporate communications, ideally at a savings bank or a comparable institution,
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities,
A highly independent and structured approach to work with strong organizational skills, as well as
A keen sense of the impact of communication initiatives.
