Always on the move and there to help: That’s who we are—that’s the ADAC. Just as we stand by our members, we also guide and support our employees. Yellow is our color, but we’re also colorful and diverse. What unites us: We’re professionals and know how to help people in the best way possible.
The ADAC Hessen-Thüringen e.V. regional club was founded in 1904 and currently has over 2.2 million members. Here in Hesse and Thuringia, approximately 350 employees work in our 16 branch offices, 11 travel agencies, two driver safety centers, two member service centers, and at our Frankfurt headquarters. Here, we handle matters related to mobility, travel and vacations, insurance, and, of course, ADAC membership.
The ADAC is committed to equal opportunity and offers all applicants—especially people with disabilities (severe disability/equal treatment)—the best possible chances for success. The individuality of our employees—regardless of age, appearance, background, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or personal limitations—is a central component of the ADAC’s corporate culture.

Your Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility is to handle public relations for ADAC Hessen-Thüringen through press releases, (live) TV and radio interviews, and media appearances. This means you will communicate the ADAC’s positions on key topics such as mobility, consumer protection, technology, and tourism.
In addition, you will coordinate and organize media partnerships, trade show appearances, and press conferences.
Last but not least, you’ll create content for our social media channels and the ADAC HTH website.
You’ll work in close collaboration with other departments and the press office of ADAC e.V.

Your Profile

You have a college degree, preferably in corporate communications or the humanities, or have completed vocational training with prior experience in journalism.
Ideally, you have at least two years of professional experience in a press office, a PR agency, or an editorial department.
Above-average written and spoken German skills, as well as very good communication skills, are also essential.
You have a strong interest in and good knowledge of consumer protection issues related to mobility.
