Your responsibilities here:
Team Leadership & Development: You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and business analysts; establish a culture of “ownership”; promote agile values; and ensure the continuous growth of your team.
Strategic Product Vision: You will play a key role in driving the product strategy for the Lease a Bike platform and ensure that we deliver excellent user experiences and high conversion rates throughout the entire customer journey (B2B & B2C).
Innovation Driver: You proactively identify market and technology trends, validate new business opportunities, and integrate innovative features into our product offerings.
Orchestration of Product & Delivery: You take on the overarching management of our product initiatives and IT projects. You ensure efficient prioritization and streamlined processes (problem/solution discovery, delivery) and ensure that requirements are successfully and timely implemented by the IT organization.
Optimizing Agile Processes: You will continuously analyze and improve collaboration between Product, IT, and external service providers.
Stakeholder Management: You will serve as the central point of contact between your team, internal departments, management, and strategic partners. You will make product success measurable through clear KPIs and business cases and report transparently to management.
What we'd like:
A successfully completed degree (in economics, (business) information technology, or a related field) as well as several years of solid professional experience at the intersection of digital product management and IT project management, ideally in a platform-based environment.
You have experience leading agile, cross-functional teams. You are an empathetic, assertive individual who recognizes team dynamics, values open communication, and can inspire others.
You excel at managing complex IT projects and have a deep understanding of digital business models and e-commerce processes (e.g., checkout flows).
You’re an expert in agile frameworks and tools (such as Jira). You have an excellent sense of prioritization and can translate requirements into the IT organization in a structured manner.
You understand how an entrepreneurial mindset works and have a deep understanding of digital business models.
You possess analytical skills and are known for your solution-oriented approach.
Regular presence at the office in Cloppenburg to lead your team on-site.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English round out your profile.
