Your responsibilities:
Identification, acquisition, and development of investment and business location projects in the electronics, semiconductor, and security and defense industries
Responsibility for building, establishing, and further developing the security and defense industry sector
Development of customized location proposals and business attraction strategies for companies, as well as independent planning and implementation of appropriate measures to ensure successful business establishment in Thuringia as a business location
Active promotion of Thuringia as a business and technology hub both domestically and internationally through presentations, trade show appearances, and targeted networking
Analysis of market, industry, and regional data to identify potential and trends in the electronics, semiconductor, security, and defense industries
Systematic contact management to identify potential investors through industry, cluster, research, and networking activities
Comprehensive support for investors and companies throughout the entire relocation and investment process, including ongoing investor support
Your Profile:
A successfully completed degree in economics, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field of study
Good knowledge of the electronics and/or semiconductor industry, particularly with regard to value chains, relevant technologies, and key market players
In-depth knowledge of the security and defense industries; experience in the German Armed Forces is desirable
Initial experience in economic development, investor relations, or business development is an advantage
Experience in project management
Very good written and spoken English
Proficiency in using standard MS Office programs
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high degree of initiative
Strong service orientation
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills, as well as confident negotiation skills
Willingness to travel frequently, both nationally and internationally
