YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will further develop the Schmalz Group’s global, cross-channel social media strategy, implement it on a daily basis, and oversee channel management across all platforms.
You will plan, design, and publish organic posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms, as well as video content on YouTube.
You will coordinate, create, and oversee organic and paid social campaigns throughout the entire marketing funnel—from awareness to lead generation to customer loyalty—acting as the central point of contact both internally and externally.
You will establish strategic collaborations with influencers and relevant industry players to strengthen the brand’s reach and credibility.
You will actively moderate discussions, build an engaged community, and manage the brand’s reputation across all channels.
You will specifically enhance the visibility of the Schmalz brand and actively shape its public image.
You will coordinate social media budgets, manage external agencies, track relevant KPIs, and continuously optimize the ROI and performance of your initiatives.
You will take on additional strategic and conceptual tasks in the areas of marketing and communications.

YOUR PROFILE

You have successfully completed a degree in media, communication, marketing, or a related field.
You have several years of professional experience in social media management, ideally in an international B2B environment.
You excel at creating editorial content around organic topics—with a strong command of language, storytelling, and communication tailored to specific audiences on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
You understand the mechanics of paid social media and can manage and optimize campaigns based on data, as well as interpret their performance.
You are proficient in using social media management, analytics, and campaign tools (including Brandwatch, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Google Analytics/GA4) and can derive relevant insights from them for your social media strategy.
You have strong skills in image and video editing (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
You have business-level proficiency in both spoken and written German and English and are willing to travel occasionally for meetings, workshops, trade shows, or content production.
You take initiative, approach topics holistically, and collaborate confidently both within a team and with international partners.
