Here are the responsibilities you can expect in this role:
Addressing fundamental issues related to the digital transformation of society and its implications for the Free State of Thuringia (digital transformation policy)
Supporting sector-specific strategies and digital transformation initiatives in other departments
Analysis of strategic and conceptual developments in other countries and at the European level
Evaluation of digitalization country rankings and development of recommendations for improvement
Support for initiatives and projects related to the digitalization of society
Preparation of internal and external public relations activities as they relate to digitalization issues
You have the following qualifications:
A university degree in political science, communication studies, media studies, or a comparable field
Excellent written and spoken German
Comprehensive knowledge of Thuringia’s political structure, the digital economy, and the administration of the Free State of Thuringia, the federal government, and the EU
Comprehensive knowledge of project and process management
In-depth knowledge in the areas of the digital society and e-government
Knowledge of empirical social research
Understanding of the technical and organizational aspects of digital developments
You have the following experience:
Experience in drafting ministerial statements and strategic proposals
Experience in addressing complex and interagency policy issues
Experience collaborating with various stakeholders and participating in committee work
Experience in the parliamentary arena and in media education is a plus

Provided the requirements under the collective bargaining agreement are met and depending on the scope of duties assigned, the position will be classified up to Pay Grade 13 under the TV-L collective bargaining agreement
