We are currently seeking an experienced Tracking Consultant (all genders) for Mediaplus Performance, part of the Serviceplan Group, at our Munich office .

You’ll serve as the central technical liaison between marketing, development, and UX, ensuring that tracking concepts are carefully planned, implemented, and continuously optimized. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Data & Tracking Team as well as directly with our clients, advising them on tracking strategies, measurement concepts, and ensuring high data quality.

What you can expect from us:

  • Planning, implementation, and continuous optimization of tracking concepts for web and app platforms
  • Setup, management, and error analysis in Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Configuration, analysis, and further development of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties and custom events
  • Implementation of Consent Management Platforms (CMP) and Server-Side Tracking (SST)
  • Ensuring high data quality and consistency across all reports and data sources
  • Supporting conversion optimization through data-driven analyses and actionable recommendations
  • Close collaboration with marketing, development, and UX teams to implement tracking requirements both technically and strategically
  • Documenting tracking setups and creating training materials for internal teams
  • Advising clients on tracking topics, measurement concepts, and data-driven strategies

What we expect from you:

  • Several years of experience working with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), as well as a solid understanding of web tracking, conversion tracking, and event measurement
  • Experience with data layer concepts. Basic knowledge of JavaScript and, ideally, HTML and CSS is a plus
  • Knowledge of Consent Management Platforms (CMP), data protection (GDPR), and server-side tracking is desirable
  • An analytical mindset, high standards for quality, and a meticulous and structured approach to work
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and advising clients on technical and data-driven issues
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
