We are a small, nationwide team headquartered in Bonn with ambitious growth goals. kinderherzen was founded over 35 years ago to advocate for children with congenital heart defects. Our work focuses on research, equipment, education, continuing education, therapeutic services, and global emergency aid for children and adults with congenital heart defects.
What began as a local association has now become a movement that supports children with heart conditions at the international, national, and regional levels. We aim to increase our visibility at specific pediatric heart centers in individual regions and expand local fundraising efforts. Our regional offices are typically based at the respective local university hospitals, as is the case in Erlangen.
