Tasks
SEO and website performance
- On-page SEO optimization on website pages, category pages and product detail pages, including headings, metadata, internal linking and basic HTML adjustments.
- Keyword research and clustering with Sistrix, Google Ads Keyword Planner and AI-powered workflows as well as maintenance of keyword maps aligned with product categories, brands and editorial priorities.
- Definition of target keyword sets for strategic categories, brands, seasonal topics and blog content potential.
- monitoring crawlability, indexing and technical SEO issues with Screaming Frog and similar tools and preparing actionable recommendations for implementation.
- Tracking and reporting of SEO and website performance KPIs via Google Search Console, Google Analytics and etracker, including organic traffic, rankings, CTR, landing page performance and funnel behavior.
- Management and audit of SEO and GEO elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, hreflang and structured data in coordination with internal stakeholders or external partners.
E-commerce and product content
- Writing SEO-oriented product descriptions and technical product texts for the web store with a balanced focus on findability, technical accuracy and conversion relevance.
- Sound understanding of e-commerce basics such as catalog structure, filter logic, product hierarchy, user intention and conversion-oriented page design.
- Maintenance and enrichment of product content in PIM systems and organization of digital assets in DAM systems to ensure consistency, completeness and efficient content processes.
- Optimization of product and editorial images for web use through compression, naming conventions, alt texts and asset preparation to support page performance and user-friendliness.
Content, social media and campaign support
- Creating SEO-focused blog articles and editorial content to support category growth, customer communications and seasonal sales priorities.
- Writing SEO-focused copy for social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube - adapting tone and format to each platform while maintaining brand consistency.
- Support with campaign follow-up for e-commerce-linked advertising measures, ensuring alignment between keywords, landing pages, ad message and customer journey phases.
- Contributing to customer journey analysis by identifying content gaps, abandonment points and optimization potential along the path from discovery to purchase.
AI, tools and collaboration
- Intensive use of AI tools to accelerate keyword analysis, content ideation, copywriting, metadata creation and optimization workflows while taking responsibility for quality assurance and factual accuracy.
- Apply basic graphics editing using Canva, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator to prepare visual assets for web and social media.
- Collaborate with digital, e-commerce, product and agency partners and clearly document keyword maps, SEO rules, naming conventions and content standards for ongoing use.
- Coordinating external agencies and freelancers in paid and organic channels, including briefings, timelines and quality control on behalf of the digital department.
- Independent completion of assigned tasks with a high degree of autonomy - independent workload management without hidden dependencies towards other departments or stakeholders.
Profile
- 1-3 years of professional experience in digital marketing, SEO, content or e-commerce.
- Practical experience with Sistrix, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics and ideally etracker.
- Good understanding of keyword strategy, on-page SEO and SEO content writing for informational and transactional sites.
- Familiarity with PIM and/or DAM platforms and confident working with product information and digital assets in structured systems.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and practical understanding of content management in CMS or webshop environments.
- Strong writing skills in German and/or English with the ability to create clear, structured and search-oriented content.
- Confident using AI-powered tools with a critical attitude towards quality assurance, brand consistency and content accuracy.
- Basic visual editing skills and a flair for content presentation and digital usability.
- Structured, detail-oriented way of working with comfort in working with data, recurring processes and measurable KPIs.
