Your Responsibilities:

  • Further developing our corporate narrative in the context of a growing, publicly traded company
  • Developing and implementing a proactive and measurable PR strategy
  • Generating and distributing relevant content for media representatives and our social media channels based on economically and technologically sophisticated topics
  • Ensuring clear, consistent positioning across all external channels
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with national and international business, trade, and leading media outlets
  • Preparing and managing communications in sensitive or critical situations
  • Further developing and managing our activities in the areas of donations and sponsorship in line with our corporate strategy

Our VIN:

  • A successfully completed college degree in communications or journalism
  • Several years of professional experience in external corporate communications, ideally in a publicly traded company
  • Experience handling sensitive topics and in crisis communication
  • Good knowledge of various German and international media outlets, as well as a network of journalists from diverse industries
  • Strong ability to grasp technical concepts, structure them, and adapt them to different target audiences
  • Experience in writing copy and creating digital, video content
  • Confident demeanor, initiative, dedication, and the ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and customer focus
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Attractive compensation based on the M+E collective bargaining agreement for Hamburg/Coast, with a gross annual base salary of approximately 79,000 € plus special payments as stipulated by the collective bargaining agreement. The annual target salary, upon full eligibility after approximately three years of employment, is over 94,500 € gross.
