We are looking for a
Head (m/f/div) of Communications and Social Media in the Team Public Relations
The position is initially limited to two years, a permanent position is possible and expressly desired.
The Public Relations team is currently in the process of adapting to the new requirements in communication. You will organise this together with the Head of Public Relations and Scientific Communication.
Your tasks
- Support, develop, and generate content for the internet and intranet pages
- Develop, administer, and generate content for the social media presence
- Increase internal communication, corporate identity, and community spirit
- Increase the local, national and international visibility of the institute
- Event management
- Support the Executive Management and the scientific working groups in the area of public relations
- Management, organisation, and planning for the public relations team
Our requirements
- Completed university degree
- in natural sciences with additional experience in public relations
- in the field of communication with additional contact to research ideally in the biomedical field
- or related qualification
- You are structured, organised, think strategically and set priorities
- You have a high degree of independence, initiative, and coordination skills
- You enjoy working in a team
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Very good German
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office is a prerequisite, familiarity with content management systems and the Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage
